Description

Decis Expert 100 EC is an insecticide in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), with contact and ingestion action. It acts on the surface of the plant and is suitable for sprayer application in agricultural or arboreal use.

It contains deltamethrin as an active substance, a compound from the pyrethroid family (IRAC group 3A – acting on the insect's nervous system as a sodium channel modulator).

Targeted Pests

Main pests: Cabbage stem weevil, pod weevil, apple blossom weevil, flea beetles (oilseed rape and potato), oilseed rape blossom beetle, Colorado potato beetle, pod pests, western corn rootworm.

Secondary (minor) uses: Caterpillars of cabbage white butterfly and turnip moth, turnip sawfly, raspberry weevil, grey weevil, spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii), aphids (including mealy cabbage aphid), pear leaf blister moth, carrot rust fly, raspberry cane midge, onion fly, thrips, various tortrix moths (oriental fruit moth, raspberry bud moth, etc.).

Re-entry interval: 4 days for arboreal crops; 1 day for root vegetables, bulbs, cabbage, and small fruits.

Preparation of the Spray Solution

Accurately determine the required amount of spray solution before preparation. Pour the measured dose of the product into the sprayer tank partially filled with water (agitator running), then top up with water to the desired volume. In the absence of a hydraulic agitator, mix manually. Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour the rinse water into the tank.

Usage and Storage Tips

• Optimal efficacy below 20 °C; above this, prefer application late in the day
• For sucking pests, ensure complete foliage coverage
• On oilseed rape and brassicas, add a wetting agent to the spray solution
• Alternate with insecticides from different chemical groups to limit resistance
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store in original packaging, in a well-ventilated place, away from heat, frost, and direct light, between 0 °C and 25 °C, tightly closed
